NCIF provided $5.9 million in New Markets Tax Credit allocation and $1.025 million of debt to finance the construction, improvements, and purchase of equipment to expand the capacity of the Monroe County Hospital’s Emergency and Oncology Departments – the only provider of outpatient medical chemotherapy treatment within an 85-mile radius.
United Bank of Alabama (UBA): UBA is long-time partner of NCIF and a CDFI bank located in Atmore, AL. UAB is playing a significant role in the project as a lender.
