In early October, members and participants of the National Bankers Association came together in Washington, DC for its 87th Annual Convention, “The NBA Leading the Charge: Bringing in the Unbanked and Underbanked.” Our own Saurabh Narain, NCIF Chief Executive, took part in the four-day event, presenting, “Impact of MDIs and Accessing NMTC for Real Estate and Small Business Loans.”
Mr. Narain used recent NCIF impact analysis to detail the work of MDIs through BankImpact Social Performance Metrics and the elements of annual Dashboard reporting. He also introduced the ways that NCIF supports MDI capacity building through our use of New Markets Tax Credits.
